    Warrior Lessons / Leadership

Most people see what they’re told to see. A leader sees what is actually there.

The world is full of static. Corporate buzzwords, polished facades, and the “comfortable” lies we tell ourselves to avoid the grit. But if you’ve spent decades troubleshooting complex systems—whether in the cockpit of a fighter jet or on the floor of an aerospace plant—you know that the truth doesn’t hide. It’s just waiting for someone with the guts to look at it.

“Real eyes realize real lies.” — Tupac Shakur

    The Frequency of Authenticity

In my over 11 years at Unison GE Aerospace and my time in the Yugoslav Air Force, and Army of Bosnia Sarajevo War; I learned that “Real Eyes” aren’t a gift—they are a tool earned through experience. You learn to see the hairline fracture before the engine blows. You learn to hear the hesitation in a man’s voice before the line breaks.

Authenticity isn’t a marketing strategy. It’s a frequency. When you stand in the truth, you become a lightning rod for those who are tired of the noise.

    • Don’t just watch.
    • Observe the patterns.
    • Don’t just hear.
    • Listen for the silence between the words.
    • Don’t just lead.
    • Set the standard of reality.

    Enter the Mindset

The truth is rarely loud, but it is always there. Stop looking for it in the manual and start looking for it in the results.

  • 🌤️ My Favorite Weather?

    If I had to choose…

👉 70–75°F (21–24°C), light breeze, clear sky with a few clouds

    That kind of weather where:

    • You feel peace the moment you step outside 🌿
    • No sweating, no freezing — just perfect balance
    • You can walk, think, pray, train… all in harmony

    Weather is like life…

    Too hot 🔥 → pressure

    Too cold ❄️ → struggle

    Perfect balance 🌤️ → peace

👉 But a strong man adapts to ALL seasons.

Don’t just love perfect weather —I respect the storms too.

    Because storms build warriors.

    Now I ask you 🤝

👉 If you could live anywhere in the world for perfect weather…

    where would you go?

  • Autism Support: Understanding a Different Way of Experiencing the World

Sometimes the strongest people are those who quietly experience the world differently.

Autism is not a weakness. It is a different way of thinking, feeling, and understanding life.

Many individuals on the autism spectrum can speak clearly, work hard, and build friendships — yet they may experience time, emotions, and social connections in ways that others do not immediately understand.

Instead of judgment, what they need is patience, respect, and support.

A person on the spectrum might feel just as connected to a friend after a week of silence as if they spoke yesterday. They may see patterns others miss. They may think deeply about the world around them.

But sometimes society expects everyone to think and behave the same way.

And that is where we must do better.

    What Autism Teaches Us

Autism reminds us that human minds are beautifully diverse.

    It teaches us to:

    • listen more carefully
    • communicate with kindness
    • respect different ways of thinking
    • support one another without judgment

Understanding autism is not about fixing people. It is about understanding them.

A Message From The Mustang Advantage

Every person deserves dignity, patience, and respect.

When we support individuals on the autism spectrum, we are not only helping them —we are helping our entire society become more compassionate and humane.

Because strength is not measured by how similar we are.

Strength is measured by how we care for those who experience the world differently.

  • A. DAY. IN .MY .EYES.

“I am proud to share a very special project close to my heart: ‘A Day In My Eyes.’ This isn’t just a book; it’s a tool built for my five-year-old grandson. As many of you know, my grandson is autistic. For him, and for many children like him, the world can be a loud and confusing place. They don’t need cartoons or abstract drawings; they need the clarity of the real world. In ‘A Day In My Eyes,’ we use realistic imagery to guide young minds through the structure of a daily routine. From the morning sun to the evening rest, this book is designed to provide the visual comfort and predictability that helps a child feel secure. This is the Mustang Advantage in action—taking the discipline and precision I learned in the military and applying it to help the next generation overcome their own battles.

    became a published author.

After many late nights, revisions, lessons, and moments of doubt, my book “A Day In My Eyes” is now officially live on Amazon Kindle.

This book was written from the heart.
It’s about seeing the world differently, slowing down, and learning compassion through perspective—especially through the eyes of a child.

None of this would have been possible without my wife, Priscilla.
Her patience, encouragement, and quiet strength carried me through the moments when giving up would have been easier. I am deeply grateful.

This journey reminded me that meaningful work isn’t rushed, and impact doesn’t come from perfection, but from purpose.

Grateful for everyone who supported this chapter of my life. The journey continues. 📘#NewAuthor#KindleAuthor#Grateful

  • Leadership Isn’t a Popularity Contest.

In the military, we call it “The Mustang Advantage”—the perspective of someone who has seen the view from the bottom and the top. One of the toughest lessons you learn in that transition is that not everyone is going to support you. You’ll see it every day: coworkers who rally behind a “charismatic” leader who talks a big game but lacks substance, while they stay silent when a real leader tries to raise the standard. Why the Divide HappensWhen you lead with integrity and high standards, you naturally create friction. The Coasters will support whoever lets them stay comfortable. The Politicians will support whoever helps their social standing. The Warriors will support the person who gets the mission done right. The Mustang MindsetIf you find yourself standing alone while others flock to the “easy” choice, remember this: Support is given, but respect is earned. People might follow the “popular” choice for a while because it’s easy. But when the pressure is on and the system breaks, they don’t look for the popular guy—they look for the man who works with integrity. They look for the person who did the right thing when no one was watching. In the long run, your character is your strongest asset. You can’t “socialize” your way out of a crisis. You either have the foundation to stand, or you don’t.Don’t lower your standards to win a popularity contest. Stay the course.

  • Leadership is about solving problems—starting at home.

I am proud to announce the release of my new children’s book, “A Day In My Eyes.”

This project is deeply personal. I wrote this for my five-year-old grandson, who is autistic. I saw a need for a specific kind of visual reading tool—one that connects actions to words to help him navigate his world and develop his communication skills.

In the military, we call this “The Mustang Advantage”: taking the initiative, using the resources at hand, and ensuring no one is left behind.

Whether you are a parent, a grandparent, or an educator working with neurodivergent children, I hope this book serves as a helpful tool in your journey.

  • Diamonds are Formed Under Pressure, Warriors are Forged in the Cold.

My birthday on January 31st wasn’t just another day—it was the coldest day in Jacksonville’s history. While the city froze, it reminded me of a vital lesson: A Mustang doesn’t stop because the wind bites; it finds another gear.True strength isn’t found in the warmth of comfort, but in the bite of the frost. We don’t just survive the storm; we own it. Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Stay sharp, stay focused, and stay warm.
