Money is the root of all evil.”

I believe this proverb is often misunderstood.
Money itself is neither good nor evil.
Money is simply a tool.
It can feed a hungry family, build hospitals, support veterans, help children with autism, or fund education.
The real issue is how people choose to use it.
A better version might be:
“The love of money at the expense of everything else can lead to evil.”
I’ve seen people with very little money act selfishly, and I’ve seen wealthy people quietly help thousands of others.
Character—not money—is what matters.
My case:
Money can create opportunities.
Money can relieve suffering.
Money can help others when used wisely.
Greed, dishonesty, and selfishness are the real problems.
The problem isn’t money—it’s what people are willing to do to get it or what they become when they worship it above everything else.
Character matters more than wealth.
Money reveals values. It doesn’t create them.
