​I am proud to announce the release of my new children’s book, “A Day In My Eyes.”

​This project is deeply personal. I wrote this for my five-year-old grandson, who is autistic. I saw a need for a specific kind of visual reading tool—one that connects actions to words to help him navigate his world and develop his communication skills.

​In the military, we call this “The Mustang Advantage”: taking the initiative, using the resources at hand, and ensuring no one is left behind.
