Maybe You’re Not Alone

Have you ever gone through something in life and thought:
“Am I the only one who feels this way?”
Maybe you’ve experienced injustice.
Maybe someone treated you unfairly.
Maybe you’ve lost someone important.
Maybe you’ve had to start over.
Maybe you’ve been strong for everyone else while quietly struggling inside.
You might look around and think nobody could possibly understand what you’re going through.
But here’s something I’ve learned:
Someone, somewhere, may have experienced something very similar.
They may not have lived your exact story. They may not have walked your exact road. But they may understand the pain, the frustration, the disappointment, the loneliness—or the determination to keep going.

That’s why we should never be afraid to share our stories.
Your experience might be the very thing that makes another person realize:
“I’m not alone.”
You don’t have to have all the answers.
You don’t have to pretend everything is perfect.
Sometimes simply saying “I went through this, and I’m still standing” can give someone else the strength to take another step.
We are all carrying stories that nobody can see.
So be kind.
Listen.
Don’t judge too quickly.
And when you can, remind someone that they aren’t walking alone.
