Life Doesn’t Come With a Map
Life is funny.
We spend years trying to figure it out.
We make plans.
We set goals.
We imagine where we will be five, ten, or twenty years from now.
And then life reminds us that it has its own plans.
People come into our lives.
Some stay.
Some leave.
Some disappear for years and somehow find their way back.
We lose things we thought we could never live without.
We discover things we never knew we needed.
We make mistakes.
We start over.
We fall.
And somehow, we get back up.
That is life.
Not perfect.
Not predictable.
Just real.
The older I get, the more I understand that life isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about learning how to keep walking when the road changes.
Sometimes the road gets steep.
Sometimes it’s lonely.
Sometimes you look around and wonder,
“How did I get here?”
But every mile has taught you something.
Every scar has a story.
Every setback has left you with a little more wisdom.
And every second chance is a reminder that the story isn’t finished yet.
Maybe that’s one of life’s greatest lessons:
You don’t have to know exactly where you’re going to keep moving forward.
You just have to believe that the next step is worth taking.
So if life has been difficult lately, don’t assume you’re lost.
Maybe you’re simply on a road you haven’t traveled before.
Keep going.
Keep learning.
Keep loving.
Keep believing.
And when you stumble, get back up.
Because life doesn’t come with a map.
We make the map as we go.
