If I Were Evil For One Day

I’d make people:

Doubt everyone who genuinely loves them.

Compete with their friends instead of celebrating their success.

Judge people by their appearance, money, religion, and background.

Confuse arrogance with confidence.

Believe that apologizing is a sign of weakness.

Become so busy comparing their lives that they forget to enjoy them.

Treat kindness as stupidity and cruelty as strength.

And at the end of the day, I’d make everyone believe that none of it was their fault.

That’s the frightening thing about evil: it doesn’t always need to destroy people physically. Sometimes it just needs to turn them against one another.

But here’s my favorite thought:

🐎 If I had one day to fight that evil, I’d spend it reminding people that they don’t have to hate someone to be different from them.

What if the greatest weapon of evil isn’t hatred itself, but convincing good people that hatred is normal?

“The dangerous man is the one who has a soft heart and a hard head, or a hard heart and a soft head. But the most dangerous man is the one who believes he is doing God’s work when he is committing evil.”
